Browsing events
The Explore tab shows the next 14 days by default — a manageable window. Use the date picker to extend the range, or click "See all upcoming" in the results to open it up. Filter by category, town, or source at any time. The "Hide library events" toggle is there if you want a narrower view, but library events are worth keeping on — they're often the most interesting things happening.
Worth Knowing About
At the top of both Explore and For You, you'll see a short list of highlighted picks. These are scored for uniqueness (one-off events rank higher than weekly recurring programs), description richness, and how soon they're happening. The goal is to surface genuinely interesting events regardless of where they come from — a great library lecture and a community festival compete on equal footing.
For You tab
Set your hometown, interests, and day preference (any day or weekends only) to get a personalized feed. Your profile is saved in your browser — no account or sign-up needed. If you clear your cookies, the site will try to restore your profile from a backup stored locally. You can update your profile at any time.
Saving events and places
Tap the heart (♡) on any event or place to save it. Saved events appear under the Saved tab; saved places show up when you filter by "Saved" on the Places page. Saves are tied to your browser session — they'll persist as long as you're on the same device and haven't cleared your cookies.
Privacy
No account is required for anything on this site. The personalization and save features use a small cookie stored only in your browser — nothing is shared with third parties. There are no ads and no tracking beyond basic analytics to understand how many people are using the site.
